A dagger with a sparkling amethyst set on a hand forged pommel. Two cast sparrow skulls rest in place of a traditional guard, and a stunning blade of lepidolite sits just below.
100% sterling & fine silver.
PLEASE NOTE: The lepidolite stone has a small blemish on the top of the stone. The bail on back also has a bit of solder spill and isn't my cleanest work. For these reasons, this piece has been discounted.
The pendant measures roughly 1.8 x .9 at its widest points. The chain is approximately 18 inches long with another loop at 16 inches, should the wearer prefer a higher fit. This pendant is oxidized with a fine polish on the embellishments. The backplate is given a lightly textured, satin polish.
*Please note that I do not currently solder jump rings closed. This is for safety purposes, as I would rather have the jump rings fall loose than a chain break around your neck if the necklace were to snag on your clothing or another object! I use a thicker gauge ring that has proven to hold well under everyday wear & care of the pendant. Please reach out to me if you prefer soldered, closed rings. There will be a small fee for the soldering & re-polishing.
**All animal castings used were humanely acquired and created, no animals were harmed in the making of any of the castings that I use in my work.
I am a self-taught metalsmith. All my pieces are handmade by me and each piece will have its own handmade attributes (which I find to be what makes them so very special.) Please see each individual photo on each listing and thoroughly read the written descriptions for each piece so that you can know exactly what to expect with your purchase.
All my pieces will stand the test of time if cared for correctly. Please handle them with love, especially if you plan to use them for everyday wear. Do not wear your silver while swimming, bathing, or washing your hands as this could cause the settings to become loose. I do not offer returns or exchanges for pieces that have been mistreated. Discoloration can occur from some soaps, lotions, perfumes, and body oils. Silver does tarnish over time, especially if left unworn or stored in a high-moisture area. Mild soap, warm water and a soft bristle toothbrush can help to rid the piece of tarnish.
Pieces that have a dark patina: this patina will last for quite a while if cared for correctly. Patina does wear over time. I offer re-blackening and polishing for all patina items; customers are responsible for shipping costs. I am not responsible if your item is lost during shipping, please be sure to pay for insurance. Please contact me at silvercravt [!at] gmail.com for more info.
